Pretty tired...just got back from volunteering at Habitat for Humanity. You can see a pic of the house we are working on below - I was doing caulking and roofing until it started raining and we had to pack it in. Getting ready for a nap now since I was out at the jazz bars til 3 and had to be at the house to start working by 7:30 and its a 20 minute drive. Anyway, saw a cool little trio at a place called Fritzel's. They were good; I saw the piano player earlier at the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park, and decided to check him out downtown. Drinks weren't cheap though, so I headed down Bourbon Street til I heard my fav Stevie Wonder song playing, and went into that bar (which I thought was called Fat Cats but can't find anywhere so I was obviously mistaken - I'll check it out tonight) and listened to a nine piece jazz band do everything from This is How We Do It to Funky Town. Pretty hot stuff. Anyway, got some pics for ya and then its bedtime for a bit.

I have a little story for you now. I had just gotten to Megan's after talking to you and Terri called me to maybe go to Tailgater's later. I was excited and wanted to not go to sleep. So while I waited for Terri to get back to me about the bar, I layed down with Megan and just chilled out. I might have fallen asleep, but I got up to go to the bathroom and check to see if I locked the front door. When I got to the front door, I heard a loud truck outside and looked out the window to see MY CAR ON THE BACK OF A TOW TRUCK!!! Megan's was already gone. They were towing our cars for being parked on that side of the road at the time they wanted to street clean. 12AM to 6AM!!! So, in order to get my freakin car off the truck, I had to give the guy a fifty dollar bill! It's a good thing I'm not tight on money or anything... Megan's will cost $110 to get it from the lot. And to add to that, they gave me a $15 ticket for being parked there! So that pissed me off to no end and I can't sleep. Wish I was there! Listened to your new joint! It's pretty excellent. Did you use a fake accent or something? Sounds like you're reaching! Have you heard the new Kanye West track: Stronger? It's not bad. Did I mention I can't sleep? I can't. I don't even have your XBOX with me to aid in my insomnia. This is almost as long as one of your posts. I'd add a picture, but I can't and I don't want you laughing at an image of me begging the nice tow truck man to let my car down anyway.
Oh man I would have loved for you to have posted a picture of that. Good think nature was callin you right? Nah I didn't use an accent but it was definitely a kanye-style flow, which kind of came across in some of the lyrics. I'll try and download stronger later today if I can. Keep it real and don't get towed again!
