...to find a spot in St. Augustine, Fl. Which was a good thing, because I wasn't super excited to camp in 100+ degree weather. Ended up staying at The Pirate Haus, which was pretty clean and air conditioned. Tough to beat that for twenty bucks. St. Augustine has a lot of history and is the oldest continually inhabited town in the lower continental. The architecture is great, and I tried to capture some of it with the pictures I'm posting, but really, you need to come here to experience it because it is everywhere. Got here around six yesterday, checked in, walked around for a few hours and then went out. Stopped at the 'Tini Martini' Bar, where I got my usual. Met a bunch of cool people from Indy, and ended up not having to pick up my tab (Thanks Peggy!) and then went over to another local bar, 'The Tavern' with Jason (the bartender), Sarah (his fiance) and some of her friends. Was a good time. =) Then just went home and crashed. Up early this morning and will be in Jupiter to see my (biological) sister in a couple hours. 'Til then.....
Oh, p.s. this is where I'm bloggin from. The Starbucks coffee is still only two bucks, though, haha.
